Renewable Natural Gas Plant Development

BGICO is in the process of developing a state-of-the-art renewable natural gas (RNG) plant in Central Texas. The facility will capture methane from decomposing organic waste at the TDS Landfill, in Creedmoor, TX, and refine it into pipeline-quality natural gas.

The new facility will significantly reduce emissions by transforming waste into clean energy that goes directly into the commercial pipeline system. The gas can then be used by various end users as a transportation fuel in the form of CNG.

The BGICO RNG plant is being developed with the help and support of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) New Technology Implementation Grant BGICO received in 2025. To learn more about the grant, please click here.
